How and on Which Legal Grounds Do We Collect Your Data?
Your identity, contact and other data are collected automatically when you contact us through the Website, on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK: processing being necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract, processing being mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, and processing being mandatory for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligations.
Your internet traffic data are collected and stored on the ground that processing is mandatory for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligations, as required by Law No. 5651 on the Regulation of Publications on the Internet and related legislation.
Where personalised advertising, campaigns and other benefits are offered — including customer segmentation, surveys, improvement of customer data quality, loyalty operations, cross-selling and marketing processes — your personal data are processed on the basis of your explicit consent, and, as explained below, transferred abroad on the same basis.
Security of Your Personal Data
ASR Transit uses the necessary technologies to prevent unauthorised access to and use of personal data, stores personal data on computer systems with restricted access located in controlled facilities, applies SSL and similar encryption methods, and takes all technical and administrative measures required to preserve the confidentiality and integrity of the data.
Transfer of Your Personal Data
Personal data may be shared with courts and other public authorities, limited to our legal obligations. In the event of a dispute, the investigation or prosecution of an offence, or any audit or official request, data may be shared with the relevant judicial and administrative authorities — including the Directorate General of Security and public prosecutors — and with authorised regulatory and supervisory bodies.
Personal data obtained through the contact form are shared with our business partners, within the limits prescribed by legislation, for the purposes of sending commercial electronic messages and integration with the Message Management System (İYS), managing the Website, storing requests and contact details, resolving complaints and dispatching orders.
Because the servers of some of these business partners are located abroad, such transfers are based on your explicit consent. If you do not consent to the transfer of your data abroad, we will not be able to receive your requests through the contact form; in that case you may also contact us in writing at “Kozyatağı Değirmen Sok. No:11 Cemal Bey İş Merkezi Kat:6 No:23-25, 34742 Kadıköy/Istanbul”.

Under the KVKK you have the right to: learn whether your personal data are processed; request information if they have been processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether the data are used in line with that purpose; know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data are transferred; request rectification if the data are incomplete or inaccurate; request erasure or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK; request that such actions be notified to third parties to whom the data were transferred; object to an adverse outcome arising from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems; and claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing.
When you submit your request in writing, ASR Transit concludes it free of charge within 30 (thirty) days at the latest. If the process requires an additional cost, the fee set out in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
